What if there was a ceremony that celebrated the successes of British Columbia’s tech industry and the companies and people that drive innovation and continue to put this province in the tech map?
Well, the Technology Impact Awards do just that. Founded in 1994 by the BCTIA, the Technology Impact Awards acknowledge the cream of the crop when it comes to the tech industry in BC.
Each year, companies of all sizes and industries submit their applications from every corner of the province. The TIAs have ten different categories divided in three groups: Technology, People and Company. Categories include, Most Promising Startup, Community Engagement, and Adoption of Technology. Companies are encouraged to send in their applications in order to benefit from the local, national and international exposure that comes with being recognized as a leading company in the tech industry, and to set themselves apart from their competitors. Applications are still open but they are closing on February 26, 2016 so hurry up and check it out.
