Create Your Business Identity with Bria Solo

When starting a business, it’s important to have an identity. You need to have a business name, likely a website, an email address and a social media page. That’s it, right? But what do you do when your customers want to talk at length with you? A personal cell phone isn’t the best way to communicate with customers. Your personal phone is used for private calls, and if you allow business contacts to reach you there, you’ll incur significant costs. That’s where a high quality, easy-to-install and use softphone solution comes in. Combined with a VoIP provider, Bria Solo offers an easy and inexpensive way to get your business its own phone identity.

Bria Solo Extends Business-Class Calling-1There are a multitude of VoIP providers available. Most have several packages to pick from with buckets of calling minutes or even unlimited usage. In addition, you’ll be able to select a new phone number that’s unique to your business. If you’re unsure where to start, check out CounterPath’s list of top providers. With your selected plan, you’ll be assigned SIP credentials for your service.

SIP credentials are your own personal settings that can be used in Bria Solo to connect your computer or smartphone to your VoIP service. These credentials usually consist of a SIP server, a username, and a password. They may also include a SIP proxy server and an authorization name. Have these handy as they are necessary to use Bria Solo. With SIP credentials in hand (or likely web page or email), you can sign up to use Bria Solo.

Bria Solo will allow you to use these credentials on up to three different devices. Using the Bria Solo web portal, you can input your credentials in one place, and using a Bria login, you can make business calls on a PC or Mac computer, as well as on an Android and iOS device. For more detailed instructions, check out this document on how to input your SIP credentials into the Bria Solo web portal.

Bria Solo is free for 30 days, at which point you will have to pay ($2.66 per month paid annually) to continue using it in its unlocked state with multiple clients. After 30 days, you will be moved to Bria Solo Free, which limits your usage to a single device with advertisements and other features removed.

Once you’ve done all this, you’re good to go! You officially have your own business identity. Bria Solo allows you take your business phone wherever you need to go. As an emerging entrepreneur, set up a business phone number with Bria Solo today!
